The app requests the CAMERA permission for the following purposes only:

  • Scanning comic book covers to identify and add comics to your collection
  • Taking photos of physical comics to attach as cover images
  • Uploading images from your device's photo library

Camera access is only activated when you explicitly tap the scan or camera button. No images or video are stored on our servers without your consent, and we never access the camera in the background.
